Honestly want him to try to come back so I can ignore him like he did me. I’m over the toxicity. We have a 3 year old daughter and he decided to go ghost 4 months ago. It’s sad and a little part of me wants it to work but he’s a liar and to toxic I just can’t do it anymore. He’s very childish and runs from responsibilities ( he’s going to be 26 in January. I chose Group #3, and honestly... I do want him to come back, but he NEEDS to be the man he was when we first met again. I feel like we've both done some dumb sh*t, but he's admitted to me a few times before the breakup that I was only reacting to how he's been acting, and that I'm a good person and haven't actually done anything wrong (but of course he was drunk when he said that). A lot of the time, he'd tell me that he's scared of love and that he wants to work it out when he was drunk. ERG, I want to hear these things without him needing to be under the influence!

Yet I still feel like we both have a lot to work on... I'm willing to work on myself, but he needs to be willing to do the same. I want to work things out with him, but if he won't put in any work, I want him to come back to I can be the one to break it off. Is that harsh? But in all honesty, I have nothing but good intentions for him, truly. He has been through a LOT in the last year. I want him to be the best version of himself like he was when we started dating, if not better; and I want the same for myself. I want us both to be the best versions of ourselves for not only each other, but ourselves.

But he better put in the work. That's all I got to say, and I say that from a place of love.
