However, overall it is still a waste of space. Considering that we are not preparing enough for the future. We are only band-aiding or bandaging the issue to think more about ourselves in the present & near future and passing the problem off to the far future. It's typical behavior yet unacceptable.

Personally, I think IPv8 would have been a better address schema to address this issue for future generations. On the premise that we would have (far) evolved from the internet as we know it today.

Also, because the tech world is supposed to plan far ahead as a fundamental concept than just the next IP address format. You would think that they'll learn their lesson for my ipv4. Even I saw that problem back then.😅
