I think. ....Shay is speaking from a place of realness, when a woman isn't ready, she just isn't. That said, when the right one pops in, our "readiness" speeds up a bit. All in all, there's no time like after the healing is done.

“When it’s over, you’re repaired” is awful advice.
I hope people realize that. That’s like saying when you leave an abusive relationship, you’re repaired.
Once a traumatic situation has ended, you’re repaired. That’s just silly. There’s a reason why the term “ history repeats itself” is a thing. Because people who don’t learn and heal (repair) from the past tend to repeat it.

Shay is a gorgeous woman with character-she is a woman that has her priorities in order. She was not feeling the big fellows in the audience. It takes time to heal up from toxic relationships. Allow her the space to heal up, so when God’s time for her to be in a relationship, it will be the right one for her. A woman with character like that is worth the wait!
