Covid 19 has had a big impact on driving test and driving lesson waiting times in the UK over the last 12 months.
Advice is to only take a driving test if you are ready to pass.

Thank you Howard. I am a PDI, I have had my part 2 test cancelled four times. My next test date is 23rd April and I have everything crossed that this will be able to go ahead. A frustrating time for everyone. Thanks for the videos they have been a huge help.

Hi Howard. Like similar questions below, my part 1 expires on the 2/12/21. I've been looking to book a part 3, but no dates available before 2/12/21. Also, the system only shows dates before the expiry of the part 1. There is an option to book a test 'on hold', therefore, is this the way I can book before the 2/12/21 although the test will be afterwards? Many thanks.

Hi Howard. Thank you for your amazing videos. I’m waiting to do my part 3. Just a little concerned because I did my part 1 in February 2020. Then part 2 in November 2020. I’m running out of time as I only have until feb 2022 to pass part 3. Am I right to think they will be no extension for time for pdis due to the lockdowns?
Hopefully there won’t be another lockdown 🙏😊

Hi Howard. With all the covid delays, will the DVSA extend the 2 year time limit to pass all 3 adi tests?

My 2 years are up in July last time I checked I couldn’t get a test booked before July. What happens if you try to book before the expiry date but can’t get a date ? And if you can take a test after expiry date does that mean you can keep your pink license in that time?

Good info,
As there are shortages in Examiners and ADI’s, DVSA are ‘seeking’ new Examiners. Could or should a priority be given to ADI’s or potential ADI’s coming through the theory test process and part 2
