I keep returning to this, and every time my eyes get just a lil bit watery at how precious Mumei is. I need her general aura to be bottled for a rainy day. It's just so good, she's so good!

I think this is probably Mumei's deepest video, and she had to have had a lot of confidence in order to post this video.
We begin with Mumei, a cute, lovable owl; a face we've grown to love and possibly associate ourselves with at this point. However, she is not focused on us, for once, she is not speaking directly towards us. She appears to be looking 'off-camera', possibly lost in thought. But what thoughts does she find herself lost in? One must not forget that Mumei is an owl, which are known for being wise, and all-knowing; as well as Mumei being the Guardian of Civilization. This means that Mumei could very well be focusing on the many problems *of* civilization; of *us*. It shows that no matter how occupied Mumei is, she is always doing something for *us*, her viewers. And notice Mumei's smile as she does her work; she is not burdened, or even bored. She smiles. She does what she's doing because she enjoys her work, because she loves it.
With this, Mumei's focus shifts, towards the camera, towards 'us'. There's a brief moment of hesitation from Mumei, she knows she's been quiet, but doesn't know how she should approach it. Should she be honest and say, 'Sorry Hoomans, I was just settling some work. I'm back.' But no, such an answer would cause further discussion 'What was the problem, Mumei?', 'Can we help?', 'Is everything okay?'; and the simple fact of the matter is, such questions likely have answers beyond any of us. Mumei chooses not to further confuse her audience, as she does not wish to speak to her audience about her work; she wishes to speak to her chat casually, as friends should. That being said, she gives a bright smile, and acknowledges her fanbase casually, like a friend. "Oh, hi!"
