Did they ever add a campaign mode to this game? I remember hearing good things about it when it came out, but that it didn't have a campaign mode like previous AoW, and my personal experience from decades of playing 4x games is my ability to enjoy a 4x game is entirely dependant on if it has a scripted campaign mode. If it does, with a carefully curated map and events, I'm usually in heaven, if it doesn't, it always ends up being a DNF, even if there's a semi-campaign built into every generic randomized map like the Endless games.
