Garrett Ace 250 Metal Detector - Test / Review

Here in this video I show a square of tested soil from one of my last videos, however this time I have buried objects and I am showing how well the Garrett Ace 250 functions and shows where objects are, what they may be, and roughly how deep they are.

I love the pinpoint feature, you know if you release it, and press it again you can get ever more accurate 👍🏻

My ACE250 here in N.Y. is set for only coins and it picks up steel screws and rusted bolts, several inches below the coil. What's going on? Do I need a different detector? The unit tests silent when testing separate steel parts.

How does it do with gold flake and nugs I'm looking for a Detector on a budget but I'm not looking for coins most of the time

What country is this machine originally designed for? I'm in Canada and when I sweep any coin its erratic, I the machine won't determine what it is...its bouncing all over the place! Yours aint doing that! Does it sound like i have a faulty coil? Its new out of the box..also when I sweep any one item, its giving me all 3 ring tones on the same item at the same time. Plus when a strike a coin against the bottom of the coil, its showing a depth of 6-8 ". And to top it all off, when pinpointing, its way off to the side instead of being in the middle of the search coil where it should be! Should I through this $225 piece of junk out?
