Folland Gnat ✈️

The tiny Folland Gnat was designed as an affordable, lightweight fighter to reverse the 1950s trend of increasing combat aircraft weights and costs.
The Gnat T1 became prominent as the Red Arrows display team's first aircraft. Gnats served in the UK, Finland, and India where it was produced as the HAL Ajeet.
