I’m not entirely sure your comments around the tax comparisons with holding Bitcoin directly vs via this fund are correct. In a rising market this may in fact be a more tax effective vehicle. Your diversification comments also miss the mark - from a custody perspective it’s important to have a variety of solutions to avoid the ‘honey pot risk’. Lastly (although I haven’t finished watching this), you may wish to expand your timeline of GBTC vs spot BTC to show how that fund actually traded at a premium over spot for a time. Other than that, love your work!

I saw NZ everyday investors take on this fund, interviewing the managers. I was amazed that D’arcy didn’t quiz them on the super extravagant fees, way better to either buy the pure product, or into a Bitcoin Etf yourself…. Easy.
