Ditched Chrome and switched to EDGE for many months now. It does everything Chrome does, lighter, doesn't eat up your RAM, and when you turn it off it doesn't stay and take up resources in the background.

I switch between Opera GX and Edge. On opera I have around 40-50 tabs open at once and they dont automatically close on exit. Edge is great for background stuff.

I wouldn't use it for that... I prefer to stay to chrome, and by the way you can get the extension "Chat GPT summary" that does the exact same thing but it also works for yt videos. Anyway great video
