Being from an asian household too...I love how you weren't ashamed in showing him the true conditions of your living (like the eastern style toilet). A lot of people are sometimes ashamed to show their culture to foreigners, worrying that they would judge. It's funny how you can meet and fall in love with someone in the most random circumstances. You can spend so much time trying to meet the perfect person for you on dating apps, but that just always seems to be a game. I found it easier to find someone in person when you have more than one time to make a good impression or to get to know that other person before you decide he/she is the one you'll shoot the shot with.
