Fucking LOVE this move! So much for the Randy Flores fast-train to next POBO! Whatever anyone thinks of Bloom's role in cratering BOS - by all indications, the ownership did just fine in that dept. independent of him....

...he turned TBR into a model MLB franchise, Moneyball East Coast, w/ better results. Add'ly, (a) he's smart, and (b) hasn't been marinating in the bilious fluid that lines the hallways downtown.

This is a great outside-the-box maneuver!!!

Great, great move. Highly regarded as a top scouting and development guy (you dont work for the Rays if you dont know how to scout). Took the Sox to a top 5 farm system.

Very much needed for this club, especially since we are picking top 10 this year

The Cardinals spend a ton on free agent pitching that’s not really that good. Developing young guys would save them a bunch of money. Pitching lab is needed.

How many guys does Mozeliak need whispering in his ear ? Bloom, Mc Ewing, it tells me Mozeliak is not confident the way he is running the ship !

Just to go devil’s advocate, but did this guy orchestrate the Mookie Betts deal from Boston to lad?

I have problem w/Bloom coming in and making him as a check point to Mo lets see some of that now Mo must be accountable for his actions! I have 1 worry about it- I thought Yadi was getting this job that's where I have to say "What's up w/that are the Cards I know why he pulled out his job as the Cards Head Bench Coach?" Trust me- I truly understand why Yadi pulled out and that's where I'm either cool or frustrated but family is even more than important the Cards-Means we'll hafta wait longer to see what happens?

I believe it’s 5 players? Kittredge, O’Brien, Santos, Robertson, Ryan Fernandez, and they took a position player from Boston in the minor league portion of the rule 5. Johnfrank Salazar, 20 year old Infielder.

FKN WAY. Shit.

Yeah, he ran the Red Sox right into LAST MFKN PLACE. Shit

I like how different the job of being “advisor to the POBO” is. Like, we are expecting Bloom to go out and fix the entire pitching system of the organization…

And Yadi is kinda just there.

Such a great move. Bloom also was GM when the rays drafted Libby, wouldnt be surprised if libby takes a big step forward with the major league club this year
