I have been quite critical and unimpressed with Brian Kelly this season. At times we looked so unprepared e.g. the Alabama loss and the poor losses to Florida and USC. However, I really appreciate the $1M match NIL funding initiative coming from him. It must be an incredibly difficult time in recruiting in this unregulated NIL landscape. There are just so many unknowns and last minute surprises to recruiting that seriously hinder building a great roster. Unfortunately, unless there is an leveling effect with revenue sharing I don't see LSU being competitive with the booster rich elite schools we're seeing today like Oregon, Texas, Miami, Ohio State etc.

What I don’t quite understand is players who transfer right when there seems to be a need for them to play. Like they didn’t play because they were down on the depth chart. Then everyone in front of them is leaving and they transfer anyway.

lol. this dude thinks he can buy his way out of a hot seat. hopefully LSU fans are not that stupid. HE DOES NOT WIN BIG GAMES. his big wins always have a catch. when he beat Clemson at Notre Dame there was no Trevor Lawrence. When he beat Saban at LSU it was Saban's worst team in a decade.

So eventually how much money will college athletes be making? LSU is obviously leading the charge. Like within ten years are we talking about schools having to offer 16 year old kids 3 year contracts worth $150M or what? And at a school like LSU there are no academic standards either, so just come and play and we’ll pay you.
