Three Lessons the Military has taught me 🙏
- Physical toughness working 100 Hours a Week
- Emotional toughness in the military has one way of communicating, up and down the chain of command. Humans have a wide range of ways to communicate. Put that together and this creates a lot of challenges for me. I was able to use this as a Fuel to propel my growth.
- Identity. Over the 6 years of being in the Navy, I realized I've become a sailor. A product of the military, after talking to my mentor I was able to recognize that was not who I was at the core and I converted my identity of being a sailor into skillsets.
