8GB variant will be borderline usable. 16GB should be 399, unlaunch 8GB version

I just ignored everything about the 50 series. They are just so terrible.

Eh Blackwell architecture is just a skip generation all together. I can't imagine these cards are going to age well at all with all the issues they've had already.

5060ti will be 7700XT level of performance not 7800XT

The 8gb 5060 is going to move off the shelf simply due to being shoved in every other prebuilt like the 4060 😄. That’s pretty much the only way to get rid of the stock.

Yikes $399 for a 60ti series card. Could give me 32gb and it wouldn’t be worth it

Don't listen to Tom, Nvidia - keep releasing new 8GB cards. It just guarantees my current PC will stay relevant for even longer.

You would think that RTX 3080 level performance would have fallen to the Nvidia 60 class GPUs now but nope.

I hope very few people buy the 8gb version. It should be made illegal really, in an ideal world.

There’s some new leaks that came that suggest the 16GB 5060 ti may barely beat the 7700XT in raw performance. If that’s the case then I have no idea how this thing is not DOA😂

Lets be real, the reason is so oems can build cheaper pcs with the 8gig version while self builders buy the 16gb version.

The longer this goes on, the more glad i am to have bought a 7900 GRE on its EU launch week.

The thing is ?The 50 series and the 40 series are the same thing with just faster V.Ram and frame generation

Currently got 7700XT here, proud to say with oc im getting 4070 performance (or better) lol

399 for 16gb with at least a 20% uplift would make it a genuinely good card. 429 and 15% based on rumors is alright, just nothing crazy

so at most a 4070 16gb with less bandwidth for the same price you could buy 4070 a year ago.
meh...

Nvidia keeping same amount of vram as my 1070 ti which came out like 8 years ago

I bet that 5060ti 16gb will be barely (or a lil) more powerful than 7700XT and will be like at least 420$ (unfortunately, they really have to unlauch the 8gb version and sell the 16 at the 8gb price or at least 399$ at most)

Nvidia should really just stick to GDDR6x instead of GDDR7 and the savings could go to giving 4gb more vram for each tier (except for RTX5090) ie RTX4060 12gb, RTX4060ti 16gb, RTX5070 16gb, RTX5070ti 20gb and RTX5080 20gb. 4gb more vram may give extra 5-10% of performance on top of what already have

Anyone else remember when the 70 series used to be around 300 USD? Those were the days...

They've slowly been cutting die size, and raising prices. Rip gaming.
