It’s National Kidney Awareness month 💚
My kidney journey is a long one. I was diagnosed with ESRD when I was 17. Went on Peritoneal dialysis for a year and then was blessed with a transplant with my moms kidney. Sadly transplants don’t last forever and I’ve been back on dialysis for 5 years now. Been working on getting back on the transplant list but it’s a long and hard road and it’s never a guarantee. Take care of your kidneys y’all cause dialysis SUCKS!
