Actually a good list. I hate all the videos on YouTube that keep pushing the cheap Chinese brands from AliExpress. I get it, they are half decent watches for the money, but I personally prefer a brand with a bit more heritage. That Timex is awesome value for money.

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

You included Orient but the Kamasu which is easily found on the Gray market around $200 should be on there. Sapphire crystal, 200 m WR, beautiful dials and hand set, great dimensions, in house movement, along with great reliability and a long history is hard to beat!! I understand your list could go on forever but the Kamasu is hard to beat in my book! …. Great video as always!!

Great topic and video! I suggest taking a look at Monterey Watch Company. Most of their watches are around $300 at full retail. Most have Seiko NH35 automatic movement, 100 meters water resistance rating, sapphire crystal, and ceramic bezel on the divers. Assembled in the USA, more specifically North Carolina. I own four "Montys" and enjoy wearing them.
