Installing a gear indicator on Honda Hornet CB600F

As I didn’t find any videos on the web installing a gear indicator for older hornets I thought I will upload mine. Hope will help for some of you guys..
I KNOW a real rider does not need this sh*t because you have to feel instead to see , but got this bike since 6 years and rode 2k km total, so I really don’t use it too much:)

This is a gear indicator bought from AliExpress, price is about 25 bucks.
Motorcycle is a Hornet made in 2005. As per seller’s page this indicator could be installed for many Hondas approximately till 2006, 2007…
(For Hornets 2007 or 2007+ you have to buy another type)

Socket has to be plugged to the speed sensor’s harness. Basically between the original black sockets. The green wire has to be soldered to the yellow/green wire (that’s the crankshaft sensor cable)
…then you have to teach it as per seller’s installation sheet…that’s pretty easy.

My CB900f looks a little different, has anyone installed one on them and can help me out? Having trouble finding out where to put the green cable.

When I start ingnition "L" is continously blinking but it never moves to 1, then 3, 4, 5, 6 for setup. Any thoughts why it is doing?
