There are a lot of good starters that have less than 1500 attack that need to remain on the field for combos to work

I think that card would have been a decent 1 of, if it came out a format or 2 ago and the traptrix structure deck was also out. Being able to hit tearalament mieru & reinoheart would have been a great tool to disrupt them since flood gate trap hole is dogshit vs fusion strategy

well right now in the OCG Kshatrila is heavily restricted and the most probable best deck are combo decks that can play Smoke Grenade like Admancipators and Infernoble (which will receive new support shortly) and Purely are also quite strong here
which mean there is a good chance that you'll hit some combo piece with below 1500atk right now. I'll say that this card is quite meta relevant

Id like to say. This is one of those cards that is basically future proofed. It is format dependent. Any combo deck format would dread this kind of card.

Almost all of the monsters people use for links synchro and whatnot are almost all under 1500, and banishing them facedown makes alot of banishment return useless

Numeron gate monsters, super heavy samurai, Utopia decks, Dragon maids, maybe the Paleozoic traps? Just to name a few

plenty of monsters are targets for this. i can hit the small choke point monsters. focusing on just kashtira is probably the problem here but even then kashitra shang-ira is a valid target for this card. Also isn't konami slowly releasing cards that support monsters with 1500 atk and 2100 def? I think you might be thinking to narrowly.

Bringing up a current meta deck like kash for a card coming out in about half a year for the tcg is crazy. It's a decent card and may see use depending on whats meta. Spright, prank, tri-brigade and plenty of other meta decks had low stat lines and where meta.

I mean it's a good side deck for certain types of decks. Like sprightly, as you said, floo and some jank decks that you might play against

Spright would hate it, it works against most normal summons, I'd say it's worth it.

I think it can be good against SHS after you nibiru them and they try to pend afterwards. A lot of their monsters have 1500 or less atk

I would use one slot for this, but as a target for rafflesia, as a semi-garnet
