Iron Man was always my favorite Avenger. The scene at his funeral was just heartbreaking. All the stars standing there in one scene made my cry =)

And to think that when they finished main production, that line wasn't even there. Tony just snaps his finger. True story - months later, the editors were piecing together all of the various scenes into the movie's final form, and one of the editors said 'It doesn't feel right - tony should say something" and another one immediately said "He should say 'and I am Iron man" - so they went to Robert Downey jr. to ask him to re-shoot the scene, and initially he said no. He had shaved off the goatee, was working on other projects, and didn't want to have to get back into the emotional frame of mind that Tony was in at the end - but a good friend talked him into it.. and we are all so glad that he did!

It's weird; there's like this 1 second of calm and relax when he say's ironman. It's giving me "He knew he was going to die but did it anyway and pretty much realises the whole entirety of his existence and is glad he saved the world and is cherishing his loved ones love for the final time before he dies" vibes.

The cinema I was at went absolutely quiet. Swear I could here people sniffling then full blown crying when it got to the funeral

The reason why tony hesitated was because he knew what would happen after he snapped his fingers. You can see the sadness and pain in his face. But then he forgets that and you see anger when he says “Ironman”
