I’ve had like 3 prisma eggs but I’ve failed to catch any of them :(

In this I managed to get my hands on one of the legendary rainbow eggs. I caught it in the machine and I opened it revealing an awesome looking pet. However, when I went to my inventory to place it I couldn't find it... Where do I go to place something like this or is there something else that I'm missing?
