It’s pretty cringe that many Black women are so obsessed with Beyoncé’s hair.

The issue is not if black women can grow hair or not 🥴 the issue is that black women will NOT allow Beyoncé to just say it works cus she is Beyoncé 🥱🥱🥱 and I really doubt it’s cecred that grew her hair since her hair always been long 😅

A lot of people cant grow hair because they are lacking nutrients and they dont take care of their hair if you wear weaves/wigs make sure to take care of your hair

I don’t understand why are people shocked that Beyoncé has long healthy hair. Ms. Tina had a hair salon and Beyoncé had long hair as a kid.

Black women are obsessed with Beyonce's light skin and curly hair.

Black women spend the most on haircare. I would never buy Beyonce's products they're over priced. All I need is a good shampoo, deep conditioner and leave in and oil. Products don't grow your hair everyone's hair grows all the time don't let these people fool you.

Side note: The only reason why we have buying power is because we are strategically positioned to be consumers. Most people don’t have capital to become business owners, so we are stuck in the position of being consumers!!! All we can do is buy. Most will not be able to own.

When I saw the comments about "that's not her hair" I immediately remembered the video you did Chrissie on Beyonce's hair years ago. Too many black women don't believe in their own beauty. It's saddening

Idk for me Beyoncé is just not an influencer in that way. She is definitely a music influencer but her brands outside of music are just meh. The reel really seemed awkward. She’s been unrelatable for so long. It seems odd to do it now.

With the fenty topic. What's funny is many other brands underestimated our buying power, or didn't care to have variety until they saw how fenty did in sales. Now only recently other brands have followed suit.

Beyonce has been silent for so long, only ever pushing product she wants to sell, that she doesnt really have a strong personal brand (except the mysterious woman). So when she wants to sell something, it doesn't work well because its like "who are you to try to sell us something, pick up a mic and sing lady". She's been too quiet and now probably regrets not being able to hit milestones when selling products just like Rihanna has been able to do because Rihanna's personality has ALWAYS shone through, making her relatable

As a type 4 natural, I use Creme off Nature Shampoo and Conditioner and Mielle styling products. They all work just fine for me. My hair is flourishing.

Beyonce's hair has been long from time. The Destiny's Child days. Why are folks surprised?
Sadly it is still a hot topic. I still get asked "how do you get your hair like that?"

The real tea is that Beyoncé only talks to us when she’s trying to sell something and regarding her hair care I’ve heard that it’s way too mediocre for the high price point . I’m not gonna buy a celebrity brand just because. A lot of the times celebrities use already factory made products and slap their label on them. And I’m good!!

This is what happened when women like Beyoncè became the standard of black women

As a BW with long hair I wouldn't buy Beyonce hair care because those products aren't the reason why her hair is long ima say genetics and environment plays a huge role I noticed some cities got harsh water and it makes my hair and skin dry

Beyoncé hair products aren’t affordable right now. Do you know how much groceries are😩😩

the hair line is a flop. she made products for “all hair types” but wants to pander to the black demographic to get sales. YAWN. nobody wants to buy overly expensive 8oz hair products that 9/10 won’t work.

I love that you’re starting to expand on different topics now that aren’t always related to the black community or the struggle. I’m always intrigued to hear your thoughts!
