I already feel sorry for Matt to not get a decent debate because Denial Daniel has absolutely nothing of value, never had, never will apparently if past debates are any indicator. I already know I will skip this one. I wont miss anything. I already know whats going to happen. We all do.

It just goes to highlight & adds a whole new level to Daniels usual disingenuous behaviour.

Nobody has ever been able to answer Matt’s question of how do you know god exists. Intuition is not evidence.

So Daniel’s entire opening argument is that people have an intuition for the existence of a creator from a young age. Not only has he not demonstrated that this is the case, he hasn’t actually demonstrated that intuition is a reliable pathway to truth. Matt rightly pointed out that he failed to address the opening debate topic and in particular that people of different faiths can be said to have intuitions that support their belief in mutually exclusive theistic claims.

it's hard to believe that this Muslim dude actually believes anything he espouses. It seems like he's trying to convince himself as much as others.

Daniel asserts that everyone has "intuitions" to believe in God from childhood; I'm going to contest that, as someone who has *never* believed in any god. I didn't even understand what it meant to believe in gods until I learned I was an atheist. It's still something I can't truly imagine, having never experienced that state of mind.

I think the intuitions that Daniel asserts as universal are anything but universal.

Daniel: nuh uh, my intuition is correct because we used intuition for other stuff and it works out.

Matt: we use intuition for stuff that are demonstrably correct. You haven't demonstrated that god is true.

Daniel, nu uh, it's correct because my intuition says so.
