YouTube Changed My Life

Just me talking about my new job, why I'm restarting Plain English, and how YouTube changed my life. A special thank you to everyone I've met through this awesome community, and all of my friends that encouraged me to keep honing in my video making skills.

Also, believe it or not, this was the least douchey looking of all my possible thumbnails.

Congrats! Sounds awesome! My problem is I have lots of hobbies and interests and have no clue how I would convert that into a job.

@csandreas the mic i'm using in this video is the zoom h1. it's about $80 or so, and it sounds amazingly good. it's quite flimsy, but incredibly portable [very light]. you can snag a tripod hotshoe mount for it and put it right on top of the t3i as well, though i still haven't bought one yet [mine is on a mic stand].

@ntcssj you really, really need to narrow them down and focus on a few things in order to succeed in an area. i had the exact same problem, and had to scale back on a lot of my hobbies [including music] to get to the level i'm at with video editing.

@evmoneyTV yeah! i actually started on january 26th. ;-D i slacked on making this video because i wanted to wait until i got my zoom h1 to record it. then i was busy with work this week, so it took me until now. but it's out! haha.
