might last 2 or 3 years if it never rains too hard. Hydrostatic pressure will move it like it's a tissue.

Cinder blocks are NOT ideal for gardens or planters. Cinder blocks can increase soil pH, making it more alkaline, which isn't ideal for all plants, especially those that prefer acidic soil, like fruits. There's a concern that chemicals from the blocks could leach into the soil, potentially contaminating it and the plants growing in it. Concrete blocks, including cinder blocks, can retain a lot of heat, which can lead to hot soil that may harm plant roots.
