got shook when Riley hit me with the "Greg"

Careful about the Tim Apple pay cut thing, my company's CEO, Sanjay at Micron, took a 20% cut from his ᵇᵃˢᵉ pay which almost definitely comes in as a lower percentage than the 7% "performance pay" bonus that they are cutting from all the employees' checks this year... Classic corporate hypocrisy. I assume there are a handful of asterisks around Tim's as well.

320W for the CPU, 420W for the GPU, is 1000W the new Minimum PSU for a top notch rig?

the most impressive part of James Webb finding an exoplanet is the fact that is roughly the size of the Earth. Most exoplanets found are super massive gas giants close to their suns. If webb is finding smaller rocky planets this is truly impressive.

For WotC the damage has been already done. The big creators (and small ones like me) will stay away from it or at most dnd will be just one and not the main focus for them. If it's viable for you, you don't want to rely on Wotcs managers to decide your fate

Riley has definitely come a long ways since Linis found him in a dumpster 😁

Wizards of the Coast basically lost all the trust that the D&D community once had for them. They're trying to break the license deal that was supposed to be perpetual. The community has built itself on that deal for 20+ years, and instead they wanted to be able to steal good ideas from fans without any compensation. Now they claim they totally won't steal ideas, but they reserve the right to change their minds with 30 days notice and you forfeit the legal ability to complain about it in any way. 🙄

I like how they used camera stabilization to mantain their unbkinking eyes in place for sramatic effext, props for the VFX team.

That one frame super close up of Riley was a masterclass in editing.

I love how the reflection in Riley's glasses always makes it seem like his eyebrows are dyed blue-green.

LHS-475b is just a designation given based on how it was found. Giving every object a unique and personable name would be an absolute chore.

LHS - Luyten Half-Second (star) catalogue
475 - the 475th star in that catalogue
b - the second planet from that star

People say the 50s wasn't better but then compare how affordable housing and education was back then to now.

2:00 "To determine if someone has committed a crime or if they're more likely to commit a future crime" literally Psycho Pass. We are slowly going to that dystopic future

Honestly, thank you for covering the OGL issue. More people need to see the issue this and keep pressuring WotC on the matter. There were so many lies in the response its disgusting. Thank you again.

8:27 To be pedantic. Since you were talking in reference to Lore, arguably one never just plays "D&D The Game" since that is basically just the game engine, the "Settings" such as the Forgotten Realms are what define the different Lore, and then with the actual "campaign" being more akin to the game proper.

Riley's technews videos are the funniest out of all the others

when it comes to aquisition, they should be worried about tencent instead because it owns 40% of share in Epic games, Activition, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Riot games, Rockstar, etc

Riley: "Kinda like the Precogs from Minority Report. You know, I have seen that movie."
Me: I watched that movie ten times at all ages.

The 13900KS might just be able to run Crysis - the original game was made at a time when high clock speeds were the expected path forward rather than multiple cores, so I'd like to see that in action
