I honestly think the stock trinity (say pulley..below 18psi, elbow, good fuel and timing) is more than enough for the stock rods. Anything more than yeah a blower swap and rods/clutch are mandatory. I'd do tires/wheels/suspension before swapping blower to make sure I could actually use the extra power though:)

Inb4 motor pops...you’ll be pushing that motor past it’s stock limits. But a good thing is you’ll see how much she gonna make before a built motor is needed

I can’t justify spending 4500 plus going from a 2.3 to a 2.6 ... I’m building the motor first ... but love the channel !!!
Just build the motor ...:
3, 000$ for rotating assembly
2700$ heads port an polish with springs and retainers
1400 $ cams
Exhaust 1700$
Fuel injectors 1300$
Etc etc etc
