I've just started using power director for YouTube music videos that I make. I absolutely love this program. I've had no issues except "finish remorse", when I look back and go "why didn't I put that transition in, or that effect"..

Question for you sir, I recently purchased PowerDirector 16 very fast seems to be smooth editing wise no complaints there. However when I go into my FX section then drag those FX into my video Clips I receive text that say Fbx over my video clip and what appears to be an X in the background any idea?

Question master, I have a new DJI Mavic Pro 2. I record in the new hvec or h.256 codec in their d log codec for 10 bit processing. I’m able to get it into PD16 to add my LUT, splices etc. but when I render the final video it’s not as nice or sharp as the orig. one. Do you lose quality when you render? I have the output settings to the highest bitrate at 138 MBS ( I think that’s the highest) and set the size at 4K UHD but again it just doesn’t look as nice....Any ideas? Oh, and I’m saving to h.265 as Pal

been uploading loads of videos no problem.Do one little 2 minute video, and now its telling me its going to take 3 hours...Its going good until it hits 10% then it all falls apart. do you know why??

I'm new on video editing. i have a video file (talk show 9 minutes long) 35MB. I imported it, using powerdirector16, inserted many sub titles then produced it using H.264 AVC mp4 1920x1080/24p 16Mbps. i was about to send the new video file back to my brother when I realized its size now is 700MB. Question: what's going on? can you help me?

I've been using power director for a month now... there's a few glitches that are driving me crazy though. A video I completed this week with 4-5 transitions throughout a 3 minute video will not show the transitions once I do the final render/produce. Instead of the transitions, it just shows blackness during the time the transition should have been showing. Also, when I shorten certain clips or cut them into two segments, sometimes that action causes the clip to suddenly be a completely different segment of the file than what was originally cropped (before I cut the clip additionally). This is beyond frustrating. If anyone has any ideas what the hell is causing either of these things, I would love some advice! Thank you!
