Android controlled arduino

How to control arduino using an android device. Communication via bluetooth. Access all the hardware on your android mobile: GPRS,GPS, accelerometer, gyro, user interface (touchscreen), sound and music player, text to speech and speech to text, wifi and more. You'd have to pay several hundred dollars to interface these using commercially available arduino shields.

ohh and by the way... btm222b is class 1 bluetooth module so the max range is supposedly 100m

well to be honest it is only slightly smaller than the board itself ;-) check the datasheet for more details - unfortunately there is little documentation on bluetooth modules in general and/or it's difficult to find

This video is just to show people they can use MIT's app inventor to create custom apps with almost no coding knowledge required. If you want to you might even replicate that app using this method, but the point is that they can create anything they want to and are not limited to a general app that is just for switching several pins on and off. Check my other videos - there are more example apps I created - some send data to the internet, other receive and read aloud sensor values etc.
