I want to know how the CVT gear box is.. the previous generation including the X-trail gearbox becomes annoying to live with as it seems it's confused or the car is under strain

I have a 2021 Nissan Juke Hatchback
1.0 DiG-T 114 N-Connecta 5dr DCT, it has a 7 speed gearbox with the same shift paddles on the steeringwheel so i'm not sure the new Qashqai has a cvt box in it might have the new xtronic on instead so many choices :/

the new tucson and sportage will date terribly, and the qashqai wont imo. look forward to testing one in aus when they ever arrive. only been 12 months of delays so far and still waiting :(

AT LAST the looks compete with modern looking competition !
It SHOULD HAVE ALL SAFETY SPEC as standard ANYWAY - to compete with ALL new brands which have ALL spec as standard today.
Engine unfortunately AGAIN a BABY weak item 🙄 PITTY ! The new competition entry models have better stronger engine's at 60 to 70% of the price.

Personally the loud and long revs that the cvt transmission make on these engines are a turn off
