Let me save 75% of you guys some time. Most of those books don’t necessarily have what the test will. Learn the basics of division, simplifying, with decimal and percents. You can get away with knowing that. This is where the 75% comes in at. You’ll have to use basic common sense on some of the questions. I took forever to get mine and got pissed off and just took it and said idc if I fail. I passed them all. I told my buddy to learn the basics and he passed his the next 2 weeks. You’ll get a bit of common knowledge questions.

Hey, I recently passed the ged tests and wanted to share some stuff that helped me. If your goal is just to pass then I have some tips. 1. get good at taking tests. What I mean by this is stuff like process of elimination and trying to understand what they want. Another example is when theres 4 answers and two look similar its probably one of those two. Good educated guesses can get you a far way. 2. Dont overthink it. You dont have to know hard 3d geometry or super advance algebra. All you have to know is the very basics. If you can get a semi solid grasp of the very basics of each subject you'll be good. You dont need to know why the sky is blue for science. But know stuff like why the civil war happened, what parties were fighting and how it ended for example is great to know. Its also good to know in general. 3. A lot of information is within the text. You wont be expected to know too much of what happened but rather be expected to read the passage for it. That goes for almost everything on the ged aside from math. 4. being able to simplify what you are reading and get what they want you to get from it. For every question read the question first then look at the passage. In language arts they might reference a paragraph so all you have to do is read the question then read to there. When you read, dont let your mind fade into spacing off if you have issues with that like I do. Imagine someone reading it to you or imagine the characters are famous people you like. Try to simplify what they said into a form a child could understand in your head. Dumbing stuff down doesnt make you dumb. It makes the most important points/timeline of events easier to understand. 5. Take the pretests they send out. They are only $7 each and the closest thing to the actual test. 6. Dont be scared of the test. Its not that hard. I did with very little studying. 7. Dont spend forever on a question you are clueless on. Theres a option to go back to the question later. Just flag for review and after you answer the rest it will ask you if you want to review your questions. You can go back to the questions you flagged through that. I passed all 5 GED first try using your videos only. All subjects I got a 159, 92/100, and 158 in math. I can’t believe in at all. Science I failed 9th-12th grade. So I'm a 41 your old woman I have not graduated from high school and I have been looking to take my GED for years and just allowed things to get in my way but mainly just fear of not passing so I was searching for a video to see how the past test a little bit better I was about to take the class which I didn't want to do and I stumbled upon your video which is truly helping me I ordered my Kaplan book and I just received it yesterday so I thank you in advance for helping me pass the GED

I passed my final test yesterday, math. I prolonged math for so long due to an abusive history for getting math problems wrong. Messed with me mentally for many years. But I did it and passed.

I don't know why I'm back here, but I guess putting this part behind me now is bitter sweet.
