Muskegon’s Shoreline Drive 'road diet' project stopped, residents and business owners react

The proposed Shoreline Drive road diet project in Muskegon will not move forward at this time. The city confirmed the decision.

It was a really dumb idea, but nothing suprises me in Muskegon.
Just like making the western end of Apple into only a 2 lane with some left hand turn lanes to help in all that pedestrian traffic that walks east and west every day 🤬

Pigeon Hill you guys moved from downtown to the other side so that is on you..
The whole idea of building a business route is to keep traffic flowing not to slow it down.. what about emergencies what about busy weekends like bike time and all the other festivals and stuff?
