Luxurious Schindler 5500 elevators - Petrovsky Passage Shopping center, Moscow, RU

That's the first video from my trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg (also first video with new design) let's begin with one of my favorite manufacturers: Schindler! As you have already seen, my principles of publishing have changed: now I publish my lift photos as stories, but only most interesting are as posts and videos.
Also this is my first Schindler in 2022, because my hometown, unfortunately, doesn't have any. This one is located in a historical Petrovsky Passage mall in Tverskoy District, the very center of Moscow.
The mall was completed more, than 100 years ago, in 1906. I don't know, if it originally had any elevators, but still let's proceed to the modern history of the building. The owner installed to the mall four KONE freight lifts in 1990, but regular visitors couldn't access second and third floor of the shopping centre on the lift, so it was a real problem for some people.
However, the situation has changed in 2018, when building management ordered two Schindler 5500 elevators and installed them.
They have pretty nice luxurious design, the cabins even have sofa chairs. The only thing I don't like is that upholstery on the side walls. In everything other these lifts are perfect: LCD indicators, typical FI GS fixtures and satisfying sounds.
