Just fascinated by the way Lou speaks. That long pause before he begins to annunciate his dialogue. It’s the deuce.

This was a great watch. As a new to the hobby (6 months in with a 75 gallon reef tank) something I recently experienced was dealing with ultra low nutrient levels and having to nurse some corals back to health.
I believe I’ve reversed the trend and see growth again. It was a a humbling experience because I test weekly and struggled with keeping nitrates and phosphates above 0. I feel new hobbyists are done a disservice because nitrates and phosphates are labeled a “pollutant” and often paired with words like “dirty water” rather than a source of nutrition.

My dedication to 15% weeks water changes and conservative feeding led to the beginnings of a tank crash. I ended up dosing phosphate and nitrate into the system, but this video has me thinking how I will introduce phosphate in the future if they fall.
Great work guys 👍🏼

I would love to see BRS interview the keepers of public aquariums, or people that own private unsponsered aquariums(not aquariums shops or people that sell things) and what products they use. No matter how accurate the information may be here I personally can't get over the potential conflict of interest in a conversation between two people that SELL the products they are discussing.

I would LOVE to see a in depth video on this product. Maybe a new tank setup or before and after of an existing tank that may be struggling.

Can we use Phos Feed with dosing pump with mixing RO/Di with it?

How long the phophat particle remain in the water? Is every Day dosing recommanded or even neccessary?

Can you ask Lou what the difference between dosing trisodium phosphate vs TM phosphate products?

Is it possible to use Phos Start/Feed with carbon dosing products from Tropic Marin? Like NP-Bacto-Balance or NP-Bacto-Pellets in Combination with Elimi-NP/NP-Plus?

If you have Goni's dont use Phos feed. It pisses them off and could kill them.

All this hobby wants to do is sell you stuff... they want to get in your pocket. There are amazingly easy and cheap ways to have these tanks without all the garbage these guys try to push on you.

Listen to those who have very nice tanks, don't have a store to sell you things, and give you genuine advice.

These guys just want to push products and sales. Don't fall for it. Aquariums don't have to cost a fortune.

This entire video assumes there is no fish in the tank or food being added

Good video but talking to a specialist vs a salesman is obvious.
