He should start looking into a wide body kit. As a long time Fit driver, the Fit handles surprisingly well for its thin and tall frame, but it's engine was designed with these structural limitations in mind I'm sure. I thought about putting a more powerful engine, but I got discouraged in all of the redesigns that would have followed.

tbh i miss my 2nd gen sport. after handful of handling mods and bolt-ons it handled like a fwd rally car. super fun to throw around. it just was lacking on power

In Europe I’m pretty sure they had a manual turbo AWD HRV so that would probably make the swap go smoother
