Always found it weird Alesia in 2 ditched the Latina accent. Ortega is my favorite since she didn't exaggerate the accent at all and she sounds natural

Ok, I can’t help but like Grey DeLisle because she’s amazing and she’s voiced other characters I like, but as far as the voice itself goes for Carmelita, I think the first one is the best.

I’m apparently in the minority, but 3 is my favorite, with 2 in close second. Roxana Ortega’s acting in 1 is a little bland, and while I normally love Grey Delisle, she came off as really over the top. Alesia sounds strong and mature overall, but Ruth really found that balance between the maturity of the character and the fun of the franchise, and delivers some of my favorite lines.

Alesia is my first voice for Carmelita, but Ruth does an amazing job in 3. Actually prefer Ruth over 4’s VA but that’s just my opinion.

Sly 2 would be the best if she had a Spanish accent. I think that’s an important part of her character. As it is, Sly 1 is my favorite.

I grew up with Grey Delisle's animated voice works during my childhood, so I prefer her over the other VAs. Also, I like how Grey pulled off a near genuine Hispanic accent for Carmelita.

Roxana does a good job with the tone but could do with more of an accent . . . and Grey Delisle is pretty good as well but a bit cheesy :)

Outlier response: I actually really like Ruth in sly 3 overall, especially with her take on an accent. Don't like the voicing for 2 and 4 at all though. Sly 2s version to me sounded bland in delivery and the character in sly 4 was the other extreme, too over the top.

These comments should just be called people having extremely polarizing opinions on fursona’s voice… no Carmelita’s designed after a Latin actress look it up. Anyway here’s my 2 cents throne in.
4: third, yeah no matter how many people tell me it works for her character I hear nothing but a plugged nose which sucks because the actress is Latina so I wish she just went for that instead New England cop.
3: first, I like it but sometimes the accent is all over the place but it did cement Carmelita as a Latina right out the gate which is always a plus.
2: second, ❤️❤️❤️❤️ so much it’s what I think of when I think of Carmelita even though I do see her as Latina not all Latina Americans have accents and her voice here (at times is dry) really shows to you how serious she takes her job and that little “I’ll be seeing you soon ringtail.” Puts a smile on my face every time.
1: fourth, this voice is the greatest I love how Grey Griffin just went completely 100% Latina and gave no darns she really gave her so much personality and life and with better writing maybe her voice would have been remembered more fondly. Anyway love the voice love Grey Griffin and love Carmelita.
