This NEW 1.2.1 Glitch is ABSURD | Tears of the Kingdom

There's a new combat glitch in Tears of the Kingdom that absolutely BREAKS combat! Just kidding, you can definitely use it for combat but it's way more silly than it is useful.

Every item has a save flag for when you've picked it up that tells the game that you've obtained it at least once, and to show the item's actual name. If a modded item doesn't have this flag, it will always be shown as ???. Simply put, add a custom item without the flag and you can infinitely perform this glitch

Bro had to painstakingly get a sun pumpkin all the way to the GSI

Another similar glitch: pick up undiscovered item while attacking an enemy and dont continue past the discovery screen. the weapon will repeatedly damage the enemy if its colliding with the enemy. This can quickly kill any enemy, if your weapon doesnt break first, because durability is still accounted for.
I orginally found the glitch while fighting a hinox. I was doing a 2 handed weapon spin attack and picked up a new weapon from around its neck

Oh, that ending stab attack for a 2 handed weapon is actually really cool, i wish there was a Weapon like that to add variety

Fun fact : you can do a charged attack and hit a mob and if u pick a new item at the exact same time you hit the mob it will attack it like 20 times per seconds until the weapon break

reminds me of that one glitch they use in dark souls speedruns to give heavy weapons the same moveset as the rapier

Actually for speed runs this is very useful as you can swap from a spear to attack fast with a higher damage weapon.

A similar one j like is when you unequip weapon, click y and during the animation pick up a spear or 2 hand weapon, you can hold it with a single hand. The attack animations the same but you get to hold a shield while doing it
