She is an example of why the "life coaching" industry needs to be brought to an end. Then there's the discussion that needs to be had about licensed counselors projecting their worldview onto their clients.

I literally laughed out loud when she said "I just don't know what data you're looking at" only a couple minutes after citing the exact same data herself 😂😂😂😂

First of all, hats off to her for coming on. But whoa a coach who doesn’t want to help you achieve certain ideals is wild.

How does she "coach" without giving "shoulds". Also, she understands "should" in relation to consent. Why is that her guide? I think many in our age have been guided by their preferences. There are many ways to overcome poverty which don't involve risking the thriving of the next generation.

10:28 The reason that people (specifically modern women) are so scared of "judgment" is because they will do anything to avoid feeling like the bad guy or creating a system in which they may be held accountable for bad decisions.

Just a heads-up for everyone: the early segment in this video is from "PLATO ON: The Forms" by the channel The School of Life. Great reference to an insightful take on Plato's philosophy!

"Is it better to feed a homeless person than to stab a toddler to death?"

"Well, it's possible to conceive of a bizarre individual circumstance where the right decision wouldn't be quite as clear. Therefore, we can't have any standards of morality except for ourselves."

This is where our culture is at. Heaven help us.

The only thing I would want to add is that this is not all life coaches. Therapy, counseling, and life coaching have a lot of bad actors in this industry. It makes it more difficult for the good ones to shine through when only the not so ideal ones are the only representation being discussed.

Her all too common philosophy of; sex is about personal gratification and advantage, has caused a WHOLE LOT of damage throughout history. 🥺

10:20 Her comment about kids being born in the rain forest has nothing to do with Jacob’s question. His question was if kids should be born to parents who love and are committed to each other. That can happen anywhere, regardless of financial or cultural circumstances. I don’t know what she was going for with that point.

Awesome video! I love the challenging you did when her non-answers weren’t good enough. I also loved the respect you gave her when questions got a bit too personal. Now you both might have gotten in to the details of data in the full video but the fact she wholesale dismissed data presented is why I don’t buy in to her narrative. The anecdote of her ex husband was also weak considering I’m of the opinion that “we don’t know what we don’t know” dismisses the need for accountability. I may not know the perfect ideal for how to harbor the absolute perfect marriage but I have learn things to do and things not to do to get me closer to that perfect ideal. Overall, it’s shocking to see people dismiss accountability, especially in sexual matters as discussed here, because the form is “unobtainable”. Even worse to double down and promote prostitution since the form is so far out of reach.

Watching someone squirm like that is hard to watch. It's like somewhere inside of them they *KNOW* that there is actual good and evil, right and wrong, but something is preventing them from admitting it. Why? What is stopping them from just saying, "YES! That's wrong and we shouldn't do that."?

I absolutely believe any child who has yet to be born, has the right to be born to parents who want them. Parents who love eachother and ideally are married. I’m a single mom raising my two kids, and unfortunately my relationships with their dads didn’t work out. But my kids were conceived in love and were wanted. I stepped up in every way for them and will always love their dads.

Half the sisters in my ward think this way. I caught a couple of them in the hallway a few weeks ago talking about how they wanted abortion protected. I heard one say. "They just need to get out of my womb."

10:04 She knows what the ideal is, yet because of her poor situation and the poor decisions that led to it, She can not admit that it is also superior.

Life coach= I’ll tell you what you want to hear!

No ideals

I have personal reasons to strongly disagree with miss life coach here. It’s terribly dangerous and destructive for children who have a mother that sales herself for money. In fact, Ma’am, it can often lead to child sexual assault. You are There are other ways to make a living. There are those out there who can help such women in other ways besides sex. What a freaking joke!!!!

I can’t say there’s an ideal because so many people don’t live the ideal???

The whole postmodern paradigm of everything is relative, there is no concrete, eternal truth is maddening. I understand the need for kindness, understanding, grace, and forgiveness of others and ourselves when we fall short of the ideal, but to be unwilling to admit that there is ideal altogether is how our society has degenerated so quickly.
We can recognize a choice or situation that is less than ideal without condemning the people involved. Christ did it again and again. We should hold the line on moral truth while loving those that need to repent, ourselves included.

Are her eyes shifting just as about as much as her explanation is shifting? And, her NO was so quick when Jacob mentioned her daughter!
