Happy Birthday to Steve Perry, who was born on this day in 1949. Steve Perry might be considered to have one of the most iconic voices in rock music.

“Any Way You Want It” by Journey, off of their album, Departure which came out in 1980 and featured the great Ross Valory on bass.

Really love all of your covers! Ross Valory played some really incredible bass lines and it’s nice to see you play some of his lines. It was interesting to find out that Valory would set up his bass with BEAD strings many times. Never thought to do that!
