Husqvarna YTA 18542 is done

My stepfather bought this same exact model in 2018 at Lowe’s the serial number on the back states it’s a 2016 he only used it about five times before letting it sit in his garage for two years paying for landscaping because he has a bad back as of recently he gifted me the mower, but because it set so long, the carburetor needed work the fuel lines need a cleaning, spark plug needed changing. I took care of all of this for less than 100 bucks and had it up and running in two days it’s a great mower and now I’m actually excited for cutting the grass lol

That is a bottom of the line mower. Just 2 deck wheels etc. What was expected it would be as smooth as a $3, 000 mower wow...

I have worked on one of those as well. The pulley system seems weird to me too. The distance you move the lever is how fast you go not an exact gear . Is that correct? Lordy you have a lot of grass.

Super looking mower Dave - nice detailing. I kind of like that new drive system except the drive belt is a little expensive.

How's she goin'? I like Husqvarna gear. But like all manufactures these days, trying to cut costs and I believe that makes the quality suffer too. Looks good though and I hope you get a sale!!

That Husqvarna turned out nice Dave 👍 I agree those newer machines seem like they're made a little cheap. But it's still a real nice machine.
