FIFA 19 Review - The Final Verdict

While in the last few years, FIFA games have been focused on making flashy, headline improvements in terms of modes or presentation, FIFA 19 instead chooses to make those improvements on the pitch. Off the pitch, there's not quite as much to talk about (other than the excellent House Rules Kick-Off matches), which is obviously a little disappointing, but thanks to a consciously slowed down pace and much more involved and methodical on-pitch gameplay, FIFA 19 proves to be a solid upgrade, and an excellent simulation of the beautiful game.

I'm not sure how well these game reviewers play these football games. Reviewers seem to play the games on the easiest modes where the problems with the games are less evident but when more experience gamers get the game, they notice all sorts of issues on the harder settings. Not to mention the scripting becomes more severe on the harder settings (if you leave Ultimate team for a while, when you come back you destroy the team like a pro and then the game starts to ramp up the difficulty). It would be good if reviews played these games on more difficult and advanced settings, cruising through the game on easy mode won't reveal all the issues with these games.

So if I turn my fifa 18s gameplay speed from normal to slow I basically hav fifa 19 in a nutshell minus the champions league!

I regret watching this video honestly, the reviewer has no idea what he is taking about. Seems to me like he just played a few games to come to this conclusion. How is slowing down players a welcomed change? Couldn't use bale to out run kompany in the demo and that is some how good?

From an unbiased perspective owning both pes and fifa for the last couple of years I can honestly say this fifa finally feels like a step in the right direction. The ball doesn't simply glide, the players have a bit more weight, improved gameplay and seems like they're taking a page from PES. I play mainly career mode and focus on game-play. I'm happy to have bought fifa 19. Both pes 19 n fifa are great, pay no attention to those bashing the game. The reviewer is spot on.

The movement and passing is still so clunky feeling compared to anything that PES has brought to the table. Why can't they seem to get that basic part right??

Fifa 19 review.... UEFA licence, FUT still the only mode EA cares. arcade mode, same journey story, and FU to all of u(us) who play career mode.

I played fifa 19 yesterday about 6 games and it was amazing better graphics better shooting animations and ball physics I actually love how they slowed down the game it goes well with everything especially the tactical side of the game and players are now really physical using man utd throughout my 6 games lukaku was an absolute beast it's completely different from fifa 18 and one of the best FIFA's I've played tbh

I have a quick question. This would be my first FIFA game if I buy it. Can I get the standard edition and still get all that bonus crap by just playing the game? I'm not trying to pay extra for anything if I can get it by just playing.

I got the champions edition yesterday, while no huge overhauls in career mode, gameplay and graphics have improved.
