Nikon Z6ii and Nikon Z7ii Firmware update to FW v.1.50

Minor update to our Nikon Z6ii and Z7ii Cameras released today, the 1st November 2022. Incremental update, moving up from v1.40 to v1.50. Improvements to the Manual focusing system, Nikon NX Mobile Air app for iOS users, and an increase to the USB power times.

There is not really much to get excited about with this mini update.

So that’s it. No af focus acquisition improvement. The z6ii af is so good it doesn’t need it? Or it’s as good as it’s ever going to be? I will therefore be getting a z6iii assuming the af is better because that’s all that’s lacking for me in the z6ii.
