Nickel Hunt and Album Fill #39 - Will This Be The Last Hunt?
I've decided to start a new coin roll hunting series to see how many bank boxes it takes to fill an entire Dansco Album for Nickels dated 1938-1999. There are 138 slots to fill and although I already have an entire nickel coin collection, I did not keep track of the number of boxes it took to complete the set, which I completed through coin roll hunting nickels.
This is part 39 of the new series (boxes 61 and 62) and I do plan on updating it from each nickel box I hunt from this point forward until the nickel coin collection is completed! It may be a little tougher due to the sheer amount of uncirculated nickel boxes we keep getting but I will keep trying!

FYI - The Dansco Album does not have spots for some coins but we'll be hunting these boxes of nickels for Silver Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, Proof coins, Old Jefferson Nickels (namely semi-key and key date nickels), Liberty V Nickels and 2009's for their low mintage.

Cool, a little light, we usually find around 20 finds a box, but some good finds. We too are still looking for that 1950D, 120 boxes and counting.

Third, and I actually found a 50 D in the second box I ever hunted, with a silver and a buffalo to boost, didn’t realize it right away. I live in frisco, TX in that period of time.
