at 17.23 for an object in non equilibrium state sum of horizontal forces may or maynot be zero (there is a case of becoming zero and sum of vertical forces not zero) . so th option is only A&B I think...?

one side its a heavier one applies more force
another side lighter one applies less force

this is why we can measure the mass, ,

by ur explaination
lighter one will exert an force equal to the force exerted by heavier one and vice versa, , , so this should move, sir....
