I know a lot of younger people prefer living in cities and more populated areas but this right here is the dream. I could live in a place like this for the rest of my life and die happy.

It is absolutely mindblowing to me that you have a big Thai population, I can't think of places much more different than Svalbard and Thailand, that would be such a huge adjustment for people

The blue light is so dreamy, started watching your channel over a year now. Its become a habit to check on you, Grim and Christopher. But I must say polar night videos are my fav. it helps me cope with my winter blues. I have started appreciating the change in season more now.

Could you talk about how the children go to school? I know it’s been brought up but maybe do a video on the education system? Or a day in the life of a kid on Svalbard

I´ve just discovered your channel while I was at home being sick and binge watched all your videos. Your channel became my happy place - I love the landscape, your energy and sense of humor. And Grim of course, he´s so sweet. Sending you best wishes from Germany!

People might hate it but from someone coming from a tropical weather, I would love to live in an area with perpetual night time. There's just something about the night time that's so calming.

Ya know what I love about these videos? First, I feel like I've been there to the point everything seems familiar to me. Second, they're nice. No meanness. No politics no divisiveness. It's good to find nice in the ice. Just made that up. Yeah...that's why I don't have a YT channel.

Growing up in the States, I was made mocked a bit being used to taking off my shoes before entering the house. (I'm Filipino American). But I think America is one of the few cultures that taking off shoes isn't the norm. An even then, it varies. Just an observation. Enjoyed this video. It's easy to romanticize the solitude of this town - seems like a dream to me. Very beautiful.

I forecast the weather for the Longyearbyen airport (remotely, of course). Even though I'm very familiar with the weather patterns on Svalbard, it's really cool to see how people live their daily lives there. Kudos to you and your channel!

I find this so relaxing and cosy, it's my ultimate fantasy to live here, away from alcohol and other bad habits, imcontext I'm a nighttime alcoholic, I served in the forces for 9 years and I know how to survive these conditions, im glad I came over your channel, in all honesty it helps me try sleep better, thank you, mental health is menacing, these videos are helping xxx

This place is so unbelievably scenic especially with the juxtaposition of the warm lights against the blue almost purplish hue of the days. Gorgeous!

Hi Cecilia. The dead plant you’ve shown looked like maidenhair fern. These are so moody, . You sneeze and they die🙂but if you cut it all off, keep watering the roots ( moist soil but not flooded) and under the lights it should sprout back. The problem is if later on you move it to a different place it will most likely die again. 🥴Good luck with your plants.🙂I looove your channel.XXB

watching Cecelia's videos gives me a feeling of happiness I can't put into words. I love nature and the snow and tranquility so these videos are my kryptonite. I find myself sitting there, smiling at the screen and literally in shock at how gorgeous Svalbard is. Staying hopeful that I might be able to actually visit one day <3

We love Grim so much! As children we had a Norwegian Elkhound, so it brings back a lot of memories :-) Greetings from soon to be snowy Western Canada.
