About the Nissan with gearbox: I drove a Lotus Elise converted to EV (not the Roadster) one with manual gearbox. Doesn't really matter which gear you drive off, because of the torque of the electric motor. However: shifting gears was possible, but didn't really make sense. Plus you couldn't really quickshift, every step you had to do seperate and calmy.

Thought provoking video Adam, great one. I think it's a crime to convert ICE cars to electric! As in the not too distant future these OG cars will become a thing to behold, not old dinosaurs as people seem to describe ic them as. And with synthetic fuel technology who knows what will happen anyhow. Cheers Paul.

Brilliant video. Some of these custom projects are incredible and it's great to see enthusiasts embracing EVs. The great thing about electric conversion is it's so flexible. The motors are small and the batteries can basically be squeezed in anywhere allowing almost anything to be converted. That means tiny cars (saw a cool classic Fiat 500 recently) or big old trucks can all be brought back to life. The future is looking bright for car lovers.

Interesting video and some interesting a good looking cars here however I am really not a fan of EV swapping, it just seems wrong especially on classic cars
