It develops a power output of 10.72bhp and a torque of 10.9Nm.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India launched the OBD2-compliant SP125 in our market. The latest iteration of the TVS Raider rival from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is available in two variants (drum and disc) and five colours. These include Black, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue and the newly added Matte Marvel Blue Metallic. Further, this 125cc premium commuter also gets a wider rear tyre than its predecessor.
The Honda SP 125 is a mileage-friendly bike available at a price range of Rs. 86,747 - Rs. 91,298 in India. It comes in 3 variants and 7 colours. The 2023 Honda SP125 gets an onboard diagnostics system that tracks emissions in real time and notifies the rider in case of a fault. Meanwhile, the mechanical specifications retain the 123.94cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.9Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
The styling cues retain the single-pod headlight, body-coloured headlight cowl, body-coloured front fender, fuel tank shrouds, a body-coloured pillion grabrail, and a side-slung exhaust with a chrome heat shield. The feature list, too, remains unaltered, and the 2023 Honda SP125 continues to use an LED headlight, a fully-digital instrument cluster, a piston-cooling jet technology for reducing friction and maintaining optimum engine temperature, an engine start/stop switch, and a combined braking system. The fully digital console shows real-time fuel economy, average fuel economy, distance-to-empty meter, eco indicator, and gear position indicator.
