The smart money goes to the Magellan 24 can backpack cooler. Yeti performance at an Academy price ($90). Built like a tank with Hypalon, so very, very, durable.

At 4:15 the stitching you are looking at is called a bartack. The number of stitches and the size of the thread is more important than the width of the "W's". Bartacks on a jean belt loop are usually 28 stitches per tack. The tacks are made with a semiautomatic sewing machine. Using a bartack is faster, more consistent and less expensive than sewing on a manual machine.

We like our Rtic, not backpack but cheaper than Yeti.

I have 3 Yeti coolers all different styles. Like all of them. Yeti does all the R&D work the rest just copy them. I work for a name brand company and know the work that goes into bringing a product to the market. Great video keep up the good work.

If they perform just as good as the yeti…. Then I will definitely buy the cheaper product.

We've been thinking about one for hikes, I'm just not styling the fanny pack one like I used to in the 80s.

seems like the biggest complaint of all the non-Yeti soft coolers is the zippers...they all open with some force but Yeti seems to have conquered this job...any people bring this up to review, thanks for your time and efforts

Nice video. I would like to see the $40 Titan brand they sell at Costco. It's comfortable.

Hopefully you will one day compare yetis backpack cooler to your off brand favorites.

I will never be spending 300 for a soft side cooler. The ozark softside with the zipperless top was great for 50 and i dont need to worry about it walking off. Im not a fan of the zippers

Coolers are literally the worst thing to carry long distances. Wheels were a game changer, but have their own issues. Backpack? Now we're talking.

If you are going to pay for these 2 other backpack coolers other than the Yeti buy an RTIC

Would I be able to attach a folded camping chair to the bottom of the Tourit one?

Yeti at twice as much as other coolers I don't think they are worth it.
