StarHub TV - Project Beautiful – Shieh Yen

Shieh Yen is a 24/7 365 super mom who cooks, cleans, drives and teaches her daughter tennis. As if that isn’t enough, Shieh Yen even organises a junior tennis league. Now, she’s all set to do her daughter – and best friend – proud.

Born brave. Born strong. Born selfless. These are our mothers, daughters and sisters. The ones who give more and end up with less for themselves. Which is why StarHub has launched an initiative to inspire everyday women towards an active, healthy and beautiful lifestyle.

Through a nationwide search, we selected eight contestants, who used to play competitive tennis, to undergo a boot camp and compete for a spot to play in a dream match against a WTA Legend. Because, as a champion of sports, we didn’t want to just be a supporter of the WTA, we wanted to embrace the very spirit of it – and stand together with real women leading real lives chasing real dreams.
