We would have to be within 160 light years for a supernova to have any impact on earth, and that’s not a given either, just a possibility. Betelgeuse is four times that distance.

Since this star is light years away. Wouldn't it supernova have happened a long time ago and we're just now seeing the remnants of it these nonhuman voices I hear on this video are talking like this supernova will take place in real time. It cannot if it is light years away. Prove me wrong
